As is common with many of our projects, there was a plain Jane, beat-up pressure treated wood deck in place initially. Initially, the homeowners wanted us to "reskin" the deck, but the framing was so poorly done, the only solution was to start over.
The original deck was a smaller rectangle with no character. We added a grill bump-out, three benches, and a flared staircase landing on new concrete pavers to create a beautiful new deck.
